Jayson Tatum showcases pre-game style with flair: Sportingly dons and flaunts a $300 jacket in Oklahoma

On Tuesday, when the Boston Celtics faced the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Paycom Center, All-Star Jayson Tatum exhibited cold-weather style.

The 25-year-old forward sported a white Diet Start Monday Lightning Puffer Jacket on his way to the game, a $300 piece available at the online clothing store Relapse. The jacket features a distinctive custom lightning bolt design embroidered throughout, with the brand name embroidered on the chest and a prominent cracked print logo on the back.

Despite Tatum’s sharp pre-game appearance, he and the Celtics ended up disappointed with a 127–123 loss to the Thunder. The Celtics made a spirited fourth-quarter comeback, narrowing the gap to two points at 121–119 with 41 seconds remaining, but the Thunder managed to secure the victory.

In the game, All-Star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 36 points, while Josh Giddey contributed 23 points. With this win, the Thunder improved to a 23-9 record.

Reflecting on his career, Tatum, who has been with the Boston Celtics for seven years, expressed his ultimate goal of winning an NBA championship with the team. In an interview on the Point Forward podcast with former NBA players Evan Turner and Andre Iguodala, Tatum emphasized his commitment to helping the Celtics secure another title for the city of Boston.
