The Gossip Girl star said that although work is important to her and her husband, they never want it to get in the way of their relationship in an interview with co-star Amber Tamblyn on her show Further Ado.

“Ryan and I made the rule when we first got together to never work at the same time so that we could always prioritize our personal life,” the woman stated.

The actress said that it has occasionally been challenging for her and Ryan to follow their agreement, particularly in the beginning when she was continuously filming and they were just dating.

“I’m used to working hard, never stopping, and going, going, going.” In particular, I spent six years of my life on Gossip Girl, often filming three episodes at once,’ she continued.

Blake and Ryan share their keys to a lasting relationship and routinely gush and tease each other in public.

In a 2019 interview with People, Ryan provided more clarification on their policy.

He clarified, saying, ‘Blake and I don’t watch movies together. We would simply never cross paths if I was filming in Vancouver and she was in Thailand for a movie. We function as a cohesive team, which is quite effective for us.

“Home is where the family stays together and the kids stay with us.” Therefore, whenever we are together, whether it’s Spain, Utah, or New York, we are at home.

Despite their busy schedules as Hollywood stars, the couple (seen in 2022) has shared that they never book gigs at the same time to help make their marriage work

Blake and Ryan often share their keys to a lasting relationship while simultaneously gushing and taunting each other in public.

And the couple, who have four kids and often boast about their lifestyle while calling their house a “zoo,” appear to be finding success in putting their love life first.

In the past, the actor has stated that he believes parents nowadays are’much better qualified’ to raise their children.

‘I think it’s more about talking to them about everything,’ he said to People. When I say that I’m genuinely interested in their days and how they’re doing, I mean it.

Compared to when I was a child, I believe that parents today are far more prepared to handle the trials of childhood through their children.

“Now, it’s just completely different.” Humans now have far greater self-awareness. And with our children, self-awareness is what we sort of hang our hat on the most. Simply be self-aware and open to everything, without trying to be happy or anything else.

After welcoming their fourth child, Ryan, who was previously married to Scarlett Johansson from 2008 to 2011, continued to say that the family is “doing great.” He joked that the entire house is a “zoo,” but he and his wife acknowledged that they wouldn’t have had four children if they “didn’t love” being parents.

“Look, if we didn’t love it, we wouldn’t be doing this four times,” he stated. We’re ecstatic. Everyone is doing really well.

The couple most recently made headlines when Blake took to Instagram to tease her husband online after being away for the Super Bowl

Blake and Ryan (pictured in 2011) had a close connection while working together on the set of Green Lantern in 2010.

“Really, everyone is doing great.” I believe we would be in serious trouble if we hadn’t found it out by now. We’re in a zoo here. To be really honest, I plan to live for the rest of my days at this workplace!

The actress made social media jokes about her husband, Blake’s husband, and Ryan, who first met in 2010 while working on the Green Lantern set, recently made news.

After her quick trip to the Super Bowl with best friend Taylor Swift, she posted a humorous photo to her Instagram stories last week.

The actress was in front of a TV with the trailer for Ryan’s Deadpool playing in the backdrop. On the ledge over the TV was a baseball cap featuring the Kansas City Chiefs winners from the Super Bowl.

Blake wrote, ‘Honey, I’m home,’ beaming in the picture. I had a nice day. Is it yours?

Ryan had joked that he was alone at home and wondered whether anyone had seen his wife, which prompted her to share this amusing message.

Ryan, who was fortunate enough to find humor in the situation, was left home alone on Sunday as his wife watched close buddy Taylor play in the Super Bowl.

The actor was not present at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, where Taylor’s wife Blake, along with a number of other famous pals, celebrated the Kansas City Chiefs’ victory.
